Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodles
Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodles have been specifically bred to be therapy dogs, service dogs and companions. They naturally communicate through direct eye contact. They want to be with you and make you smile.
This specific line of Labradoodles was started in Australia. In l989 Wally Conron began the breed and it was further developed by breeders at Rutland Manor and Tegan Park. Their goal was to develop a hypo-allergenic breed of dog which would consistently produce pups with the qualities needed for Therapy and Service Dogs. The breeders at Rutland and Tegan initially bred Labradors with Poodles, and then infused the original crosses with other breeds including the Irish Water Spaniel, American and/or English Cocker Spaniels.
These dogs have earned world-wide recognition, not only for being tolerated by most people with allergies, but also for being highly intelligent, comical and intuitive. It is very difficult not to fall in love with them. However, because of their popularity, many varieties of Poodle-Mixes are now being widely bred. The name Labradoodle indicates a poodle mix; Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodles are a continuation of the Rutland and Tegan lines.
Before your puppy comes home to you, it will be registered with the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) and the Australian Labradoodles Club of America (ALCA). We closely adhere to the guidelines these organizations have set as standards for responsible breeders.
We are proud to be members of the Australian Labradoodle Club of America (ALCA), the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA). Our dogs are thoroughly health tested. Both of these organizations set guidelines and regulations to insure the best breeding practices of our Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodles.
